Papers, ca. 1894-ca. 1919.

Collection consists of manuscripts of perhaps a dozen talks delivered at meetings of the Saturday Morning Club, a women's group established by Julia Ward Howe in 1871 and devoted to the education and self-improvement of its members. Mrs. Means seems to have been particularly interested in foreign literature, the subject of most of her lectures.
